ACES and Deakin University PhD Student, Murtaza Panhwar, has joined the Industry Mentoring Network in STEM (IMNIS) program for 2020, an award-winning initiative of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering.

The program provides future STEM leaders, such as Murtaza, with the opportunity to engage with industry professionals to strengthen their skills beyond academia and to help extend their network.

Throughout the duration of the program – spanning for one year – the IMNIS team provides its mentees with ongoing support and direct access to the advice and guidance from an influential high-level industry leader. The program also involves regular meetings and a number of state-level events and activities.

Since being accepted into the program, Murtaza has completed orientation and is now waiting to be assigned a mentor, which was delayed due to Covid-19.
