A partnership between the ARC Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science (ACES), the University of Sydney, and advanced medical technology collaborators in India is one of 11 successful projects across Australia to receive funding from the Federal Government’s Australia-India Council (AIC).

The team has been awarded funding for its ‘Develop 3D printing, bioprinting and AI medical applications between India-Australia’ project, and will focus on building bilateral partnerships to translate 3D bioprinting research to treat microtia in India, a congenital abnormality of the ear.

The AIC awards grants to projects that will build new innovative linkages and provide sustainable collaborations between Australia and India.
