ACES welcomed potential students interested in studying materials sciences to tour the labs yesterday for the 2018 Future Student Open Day.

IPRI Founder and Director Professor Gordon Wallace kicked off the event introducing our cutting edge ground breaking research before our visitors toured the facilities at the Intelligent Polymer Research Institute (IPRI) – ACES headquarters – to see those research activities in action.

The Open Day concluded with a BBQ lunch, allowing for further networking and conversations with ACES staff members, current students and potential supervisors.

Did you miss this specific opportunity? It is not too late to think about joining us next year – applications for university scholarships are open until 17 October 2018. Contact our staff about a project.
